Dell Inspiron 13 7370 Battery at 255%?

Hello, I just recently replaced my Dell Inspiron 13 7370 battery because my previous 3 cell 38Wh battery had died. I also bought a Dell D6000 docking station for my laptop and have now replaced my AC adapter with the USB-C charger that the docking station is capable.

My previous AC adapter was 45W changer and the docking station is a 65W charger, after searching around on the internet I found out that this was not an issue.

All that is well and good; however, once my docking station has charged my laptop to 100% using USB-C, my battery indicator suddenly changes to be at 255% charge and the battery indicator light starts blinking orange.

I have the latest BIOS update on my laptop (1.14.0), I am on Windows 10 (Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362), Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 1992 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Can somebody help me fix this problem?

I was just wondering if anyone got back to you,   cause I can't  get a straight answer out of them or anyone because they do not know.   You get the usual or obvious answers,  but when that does not work what is the truth,   why would it even say 255%,   I would be surprise if it showed 101%.   255% has a meaning but I guess Dell does not want anyone to know.   My laptop works fine on a/c.   When you have a problem with Microsoft  you get plenty of help but from Dell you get $$$$$$$.
