Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Issues

I have seen a lot of issues regarding the  Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series about the keyboard locking out, while the monitor and mouse still work, but the power button not shutting down. I was able to tab out and shut down with the mouse, but it just continues to stay on shutting down. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about a recall or any solutions. I've had it happen to me about twice within probably a 8 month period and just let the battery drain both times. I am looking for an actual solution to this other than taking the battery out or just draining it.

Hi Cam8706,

Thanks for posting. Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.

Usually when this happens on a regular basis is sometimes caused from corrupted drivers, the operating system, or a program causing a conflict.

Here is some information from the Dell knowledge base you may find helpful:

Keyboard, touchpad, or mouse not working correctly
