Dell N411z - Cannot boot from SSD

 Hello,

I am trying to install ssd on dell n411z. I have an ssd that I was using on another dell laptop (Inspiron 3543). I am trying to format it but my laptop doesnt accept GPT partion.

In rufus, if I format my bootable pendrive as GPT, it does not boot showcasing the error (Operating System not found) whereas if I format my pendrive as MBR, I cannot install windows on the SSD. It gives error saying the disk is in GPT format

What can be a possible solution for this?

Create the Windows install media using the Windows media creation tool:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Then boot the system from it, delete all the existing partitions on the drive, and allow WIndows to create new ones (it will be in BIOS/MBR mode, as this system is too old to support UEFI/GPT).
