Hi markec017:
What is the make/model of your computer and what is your Windows OS (if Win 10, please include the version and build - see TechSmith's How to Check Windows 10 Build)? You might want to monitor Cyberbolt's recent 15-Jan-2021 thread Inspiron 3793 - SARemediation folder taking over 21Gb on C: drive. Running Win 10 home version 20H2 since that topic relates to your question.
I would suggest leaving that C:\ProgramData\Dell folder alone, since this folder contains configuration and log files for your Dell programs and utilities as well as important system backups required by the System Repair feature of the Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Tool.
Restore your system using Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery
If you aren't familiar with this tool. If you are getting low on disk space and Windows Disk Cleanup can't find any files it can safely delete then I would contact Dell Customer Support to see if there's anything that can be safely deleted in C:\ProgramData\Dell folder.
Your TreeSize image shows that the C:\ProgramData\Dell\SARemediation\SystemRepair subfolder accounts for most of the disk space currently used by C:\ProgramData\Dell folder. If you have the Dell SupportAssist utility installed, open the settings (click the "gear" icon and choose Settings) and expand the section titled System Repair. Is System Repair enabled, and if so how much disk space is allocated to system file backups?
I currently have Dell SupportAssist v3.8.1.23 and Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Tool v5.3.1.13866 installed on my Inspiron 5584 / 64-bit Win 10 Pro v2004 laptop. If you want to check your own version numbers at Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features, look for a program called Dell SupportAssist Remediation that should have the same version number as Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Tool. Here's what TreeSize v4.2.2 currently shows for my C:\ProgramData\Dell folder folder.
-------------
64-bit Win 10 Pro v2004 build 19041.746 * Firefox v84.0.2 * Windows Defender v4.18.2011.6 * Malwarebytes Free v4.3.0-1.0.1146
Dell Inspiron 15 5584, Intel i5-8265U CPU, 8 GB RAM, Toshiba KBG40ZNS256G 256 GB NVMe SSD, Intel UHD Graphics 620
