Dell my battery is original or duplicate
Hi Admin
I bought a dell battery for my laptop Inspiron 5570 from a store today, I requested them for a original battery. My questions is whether my battery is original or duplicate and how can I check this online or tell me the status.
Its part code is CN-0FW8KR-BDS00-19T-6663-A08 Made in china
Please help me and they give me this with 1 year warranty and they telling that its original. So please check and reply.

@Natalie_Shinde There is no way for Dell to tell that the battery is original without physically inspecting it. I am in IT and have gone through this kind of issue hundreds of times. A vendor making duplicate/Fake batteries will obviously copy information (QR code/PPID/SN) from an original product.
Bottom Line: Whether its a computer./Cellphone/Camera always buy batteries from Vendor directly They are bit pricier compared to local shop but have warranties associated with them

Yes, it is best to buy batteries directly from Dell.

it's OEM battery if not from Dell .
your best best is to claim from store if u have any issues within 3 months .
so keep your receipts in air tight bag or it will fade.
