G5 15 5500 Fan and Heat Sink Repair

I’ve reported my issue on my G5 5500 overheating and talked to a couple of customer service agents and they suggested to have my fan+heat sink repaired and I agreed instantly to avoid further damage to my unit. The thing is, i received an email that within 48 hours (which was back in Nov. 17, 2020) I’ll be receiving a quotation email from Dell’s distributor but until now, no updates has been given. I was told that due to the pandemic there’d be some delays so again, I agreed. Then after several weeks of not hearing from the last agent that handled my ticket, suddenly, my   couldn’t be tracked anymore and I’m not sure if this is still being process (i presume no, as it’s been almost 2 months now without any updates). I just want my laptop to get repaired asap as I don’t want to further damage it while playing. I’ve bought this laptop for the sole purpose of gaming and I couldn’t even fully utilize it because it shuts down after 10-15mins into the game.
