I've installed Fedora on my Inspiron 3000. Now I can't get the BIOS to recognize the SSD as a boot device.
Title pretty much says it all. If I have to reinstall Win 10 I will, but I want to do that within the next day or so so I can take it back to the store.
Also the mouse pad is twitchy as **bleep**, and it won't recognize a right click. Bummer.
Any ideas?

Are your system and installed OS set up for Legacy BIOS or UEFI booting? If it’s the latter, which it likely is for any reasonably new system, then hard drives don’t just appear as boot devices like they do with Legacy BIOS setups. Instead, the UEFI boot options for local storage devices are actually paths to specific bootloader files on specific partitions of specific disks. Those paths get registered into the UEFI firmware when the OS is installed.
