I would like to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 17R, any advice?

Good afternoon, I hope someone can help me. I have a Dell Inspiron 17R with 3rd generation Intel® Core ™ i5 and 8 GB of RAM. I would like to update the hardware, I already know that I have to change the motherboard because the chipset comes soldered. I need guidance on what to buy. Thank you.
