Cannot complete factory restore. Process ends during content download for a cloud restore; I receive a pop-up that says "We have detected that a new version of this application is available. For the best possible experience, please update to the latest version." I cannot find a later version of ANYTHING to update.
Updated w/ Windows 10 Update Assistant, Dell Update, and Windows Update (in settings).
Tried the process through Dell OS Recovery Tool & through Troubleshoot during boot up.
Please help! Any other suggestions?
factory reset means wiping the hard drive and going back to what was on the laptop when it left the factory
are you sure that is what you are trying to do?
I'm having the same issue. Searched the phrase "We have detected that a new version of this application is available. For the best possible experience, please update to the latest version" and this is the only page that comes up.
Any luck factory resetting?
