I bought new inspiron 13 5391 two days back. The USB port doesn't respond when I plug in any of the USB devices.As per Dell tech support instructions, I ran hardware diagnostics which did not report any errors.The USB devices were detected. Later they advised me to reset the OS, reinstall the OS and use Dell SupportAssist to repair the OS. Still those USB ports don't work. I have updated the OS and drivers. Please provide a solution.
Return the system for refund or replacement - there is no sense replacing the system board in a brand new system. Contact your seller - or Dell - wherever you purchased it.
Dell tech support team replied that they will replace the usb ports but not the entire laptop under the three months warranty period. I felt bad. Inspite of paying 80000 rupees (1000usd) there are issues with the new machine. And I won't get a new replacement for Dell new inspiron 13 5391.
