Inspiron 15 7559, LCD screen border is white
I have an out of warranty 2016 Dell Inspiron 15 7559. Even laptop is in On state screen goes dark on its own, I have to hard restart the laptop in order to get the screen to turn on. Upon restart when screen turns on a white border appears around the screen which takes 5 to 10 minutes to fade away. It is happening 2 to 3 times in a day. What can be the problem?

Is the screen resolution set correctly? Right-click an empty space on your desktop and select Screen Resolution. Look to see if the current setting says "Recommended". If not change it to the Recommended setting and click ok.
Does that help?

Resolution is already on recommended.

The bottom line is that the screen needs to be replaced.
