Inspiron 15 Gaming 7567 - Ethernet internet speed capped
Good morning, since the new year I have been unable to get the real download speed I have. I live in Spain and I have a 600 mbps download speed and 100 upload. I used to be able to get the full speed via cable (I was unable to get anything higher than 150 mbps via wifi, but now I can only get 20mbps). I thought the cable might be the problem but I tested it on an old lenovo laptop that I have and I get the full 600mbps. I think it has something to do with either a driver update or a windows update. I have tried rolling back the Ethernet driver but it didn't help. Have someone experience this as well? Is there a way to fix it? My ethernet driver is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, I have upgraded it to the lastest version after I did the roll back.

If you have Smartbyte installed, uninstall it. It will auto install so disable it as well.

If you look at Settings-Network-Status and then network properties, you will see on the Ethernet section a link speed number. It should be showing 1000/1000 if your system is attached to a 1 GB network.
The driver version I am using is 10.19.627.2017.
As far as the Wi-Fi, are you still using the Intel Wireless-AC 3165 card?
I agree SmartBytes can cause problems with speed. I was thinking it was just the Wireless part but I never really tried testing the Ethernet.
