Inspiron 17 7786 no security lock - how to secure it?

It never occurred to me there wouldn't be a security lock, but on the 7786 there isn't.

I can't find any solution for securing my notebook when I'm not at home (cafe, hotel room...); Kingston have a "locking station" for "no lock" laptops and notebooks, but it only goes up to 15.6"

Anyone have a solution?

It's a beautiful machine but security locks are so standard (H e l l - just an aside, my favourite place north of Trondheim; I'd even have accepted the strange "wedge" lock) Dell should really give explicit warning there is none on this model. The only way you know it doesn't have one is by omission - or a single short sentence in a multi-page review (I've found just one comment on this).

Caveat emptor! I still love it, but , c'mon Dell, why do you think people want notebooks?

All suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks

Julian

According to the official Kensinton answer on Amazon for their product.

The 15.6" measurement is lengthwise not diagonal.

I didn't know that.

Alas the Inspiron 17 is 16.25 inches from side to side... (I just measured it)

Pity. Next?
