Inspiron 5490 usb-c charging (ambiguous documentation)

Hi, I have an Inspiron 5490, and I was wondering if its usb-c port can be used for charging.

from the documentation. It says:

USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type-C) port with Power Delivery/DisplayPort

Connect peripherals such as external storage devices, printers, and external displays.

Supports Power Delivery that enables two-way power supply between devices. Provides up to 7.5 W power output that enables faster charging.

Has anyone tested this for this specific model.

Thanks in advance!

Claus

In case anyone is still interested about this topic, I was able to charge my Inspiron 5490 laptop no problem with a 3rd party PD compliant 65W USB-C charger.

@erkank

This is the Inspiron forum.

You have a Latitude which is a different laptop and has a different forum devoted to that series of laptops.
