Inspiron 7400, does not detect ethernet device on WD19TB dock

I have the same issue as that Latitude 7400. My Inspiron 7400 does not detect ethernet device on WD19TB dock. Device Manager does not show the Ethernet device even though the driver is installed OK.

Update December 30, 2020 =

None of the Inspirons are listed as compatible with the WD19TB dock. You could go for the Dell Universal Dock - D3100 or D6000.

Although the Inspirons are in the "validated" list, I fixed it by updating the firmware on the Dock itself.
