Inspiron 7510 & WD19S - Windows 11 Not Sending External Monitor Signal
I have a WD19S and an Inspiron 15 7510 running Windows 11 Pro - fresh install, the laptop is brand new.
The laptop is receiving power from the dock and ethernet signal.
Windows 11 just about recognises the monitors (it shows two external displays but with nothing on them) but won't send display signal to either of them. Hitting Detect does nothing.
When I connect my older Inspiron (Win 10) everything works great. The Win 11 laptop has the latest BIOS, all the latest drivers including Thunderbolt and the WD19S has been flashed to the latest firmware.
Dell Support weren't much help unfortunately... anybody got any ideas???

FWIW, I believe the Dell Inspiron / Vostro 7510 / 7610 have problems with external screens on "proper" Thunderbolt or USB-C docking stations (these devices share the BIOS, so internally they will be almost exactly the same, with the same problems).
When I refer to "proper" Thunderbolt or USB-C docking stations above, this implies that I am *not *talking about DisplayLink docking stations; DisplayLink is not the native protocol of USB-C / Thunderbolt and therefore has numerous drawbacks.
I would hope that Dell are able to provide a BIOS fix for the Dell Inspiron / Vostro 7510 / 7610 to fix Thunderbolt Alt Mode (and probably USB-C Alt Mode) when connected to docking stations.
Alas, Dell first-level support does what first-level support tends to do

@nicjshacklock - have you had a response from Dell in this matter?
Based on what I see with my Inspiron 7610 - which shares the BIOS with the Dell Inspiron 7510 -, I can only conclude that the BIOS configuration is defective.
In my setup, a Dell XPS 13 9360 works perfectly with the Thunderbolt setup, but the Inspiron will not turn on the *second* screen, neither on Windows 11 Professional, nor on Linux.
To the extent I can debug this on Linux, the negotiating of the DisplayPort connection simply never happens.
From a hardware point of view, these devices are expected to handle three screens in parallel (at least).
