Inspiron G5 15-5587, speaker sound lower after headset plugged in?
Hello!
My Dell Inspiron G5 15-5587 speakers are going too low after I plugged in a headset? And when I unplug the headset, the speakers volume go to very low. In 100% volume is 40% lower like before. Any solutions for this? Until I plugged in anything, it worked, it was not so quiet.

* Click my name and private message me the Inspiron G5 15-5587 service tag number
* Have you disconnected the headset, then restarted the Inspiron G5 15-5587 and retested speaker audio?
* If yes, go here and download/save the Realtek High Definition driver to the Windows desktop
* Run the driver installation
* Restart the Inspiron G5 15-5587 and retest audio when done

* Restart, press F2 to enter the BIOS
* Go to the System Configuration menu
* Go to Audio
* Change to Disable
* Exit the BIOS saving the changes
* Get all the way into Windows
* Restart Windows
* Once back into Windows, restart and enter the BIOS again
* Change Audio back to Enable
* Exit the BIOS saving the changes
* Once back into Windows, retest the speakers

Take a look at this thread about this issue. I had the same issue after getting the February 2019 RealTek update. I fixed it by uninstalling the Realtek driver and after the reboot, Windows installed the Default Windows driver and the sound issue disappeared. The Realtek driver installed by Windows 10 is 6.0.1.8397.
There is a new update (6.0.1.8642 April 19, 2019) just released that I have not tried, waiting for someone else to try it first and I cannot find the release notes that would detail what this new release if for (fixes or enhancements).
