Inspiron N5050 startup problem

When I start the laptop it only beeps loudly for ten times then it beeps continuously with low volume and the laptop is stuck there. There is no Dell Symbol, no windows symbol. Simply put the laptop isn't turning on, when I power on the laptop it only beep sounds with a glowing black screen. So please help me out here, how do I start my laptop like before again?

Re: Inspiron N5050 startup problem

Unplug the system, remove the battery and hold the power button for 30 sec.  Remove and reinstall the memory modules.

Power up on AC only - no battery. If the system will power up, but won't with the battery installed, the battery is bad.  If it still won't power up, the mainboard is bad - it's up to you whether to have that replaced (it'll be a minimum of a couple of hundred dollars), but given the system's age and low-end nature, a replacement system is probably a better idea.

Ok I'll try your method. If it works I'll let you know. Thanks.
