Installing second SSD Samsung 870 QVO in my dell g7 15 7588

Hi, I just bought a 2tb SSD Samsung QVO 870 for my Dell g7 15 7588 and I want to know if I have to clone all the data into the new SSD. My laptop already has a 256gb Nvme, and that's my doubt because I suppose Windows and all the drivers are installed in the Nvme, why should I clone it again. Please, someone, help me! If I don't have to clone the data, do I have to configure something in the Bios? I'm making a secondary installation not replacing the drive. Please help!
