Pre-Auth Boot

Hello, 

What is Pre-Auth boot and why should I use it (or not)? Environment is mostly laptops using profile based encryption.

A good description here...an extra layer of security

The PBA prevents anything being read from the hard disk such as the operating system until the user has confirmed they have the correct password or other credentials.[2]
