Could be the battery. Reset the system by disconnecting the battery and unplug the adapter. Press and hold the power button for 30 sends. Then reconnect everything back up and try again. If it does not work then it may be that it's time for a new battery. If your system cannot boot and is in the loop, it may be a bad mainboard.
