Replace cdrom drive with hdd/ssd

I have a Inspiron 15 3541 from 2014 and I was wondering if I could replace the cdrom drive with a hdd/sdd and if so how would i go about doing it?

With something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-3521-3537-3541/dp/B01HLP4RDM

Note that on some systems -- not sure about yours -- the SATA port intended for the optical drive uses an older, slower SATA standard than the one intended for the hard drive, e.g. it might operate at 3 Gbps rather than the newer 6 Gbps.  If you'll be installing a spinning hard drive that won't matter, but if you'll be installing an SSD, it may not perform at peak performance.

yes the specification manual says SATA 3 Gbps for optical drive. The HDD I'm looking is 6 Gbps so I'd relpace my main with it and put the main as the 2nd.

Hello, I'm trying to do the same with ku dell inspiron 3558. I rarely use my optical drive. Can't seem to access the Amazon link in the response.
