Retail purchased Inspiron 5570 i7 8550 overheating?

My new Inspiron Laptop 5570 is overheating. Last night it caused a burning sensation on my right palm which last 2 hours. 12 hours later I can still feel a little burn.

I updated the bios later and now the CPU is showing 73 degrees in idle state. I don't know how high the temperature was last night when I felt burns. The F12 Diagnostics all pass. What's wrong here?

The local shop from India from where I purchased this PC, his engineer says 73 degrees is normal.

Re: New Dell Inspiron 5570 i7 8550 Overheating caused burn injury

Hi there I contacted dell for the same issue. The technician advised me to boot to bios and turn of the intel turbo boost utility. After that action I have seen some improvement maybe it will help you too.
