I haven't seen any.  The Inspiron 7559 does NOT support NVMe, so you would not be able to use the newer models like the 960 Evo, but the 860 uses SATA, so it should be absolutely fine.

I was wondering if the 860 worked as well! Did you end up getting it and if you did, how did it go?

Is there a difference in performance if I used an m.2 that is a v-nand. Is it even compatible?

There are a lot of variables that affect SSD performance, so rather than focusing on one specific design aspect like V-NAND, it would be better to compare benchmarks of SSDs you're interested in, although again on this particular system you'd be limited to M.2 SATA-based SSDs, not NVMe-based SSDs.  I believe the 860 Evo is among the fastest, if not THE fastest, SATA-based SSD that was made, except perhaps for Samsung's Pro lineup, although you're paying a lot more there mostly for higher write endurance and only a small bit of extra performance, and then only in specific use cases.  But I freely admit that I'm also a fan of Samsung SSDs in general because to my knowledge Samsung is the only vendor that makes everything in-house: the NAND chips, the controller, the firmware, and the board.  That's probably why they're able to stay at the front of the market.

I have just bought one off amazon today, I will confirm in a weeks time if it works when I install. If you want I can give you an update then.

EDIT: I bought the 250gb version

Just booted windows off my SSD. The 860 EVO is compatible

However you might not be able to transfer your old windows cause it is a bit weird with the registries so you might have to back up data and install clean boot.
