Samsung 860 with Dell Series 7559

Hello.

I have a Dell Series 7559 gaming computer, and recently decided to upgrade to a SSD, so i bought the Samsung 970, but i didn't work, since it was a NVMe SSD.

So now i want to make sure that the Samsung 860 M.2 SSD works with my computer

According this Inspiron 15 7559 manual, page the storage interface supports SATA only:

Storage
Interface SATA 6 Gbps
Hard drive One 2.5-inch drive
Solid state drive One M.2 drive

Hello,

So which one is it ? your title mentions Samsung 860 and inside the post you mention Samsung 970.You need to login at your dell account and look in your model specifications manual under the storage heading there you will see what your SSD slot supports sata or NVMe or both .
