Yes i am UEFI because this is the new BIOS standard.

It should not be a problem.

 

The problem is elsewhere.

I would then look to the SSD manufacturer for support. This is my Hynix  m.2 NVME that came with my 13 7386 in my signature. This SSD is only 2 lane it's in a 4 lane slot. This is what Dell gave me for an upgrade from 256 GB to 512GB forced me to buy a Samsung 970 Evo m.2 NVME 4 lane that makes a big difference at least in Benchmarks
