Touchpad

so I disable my touchpad under device manager ets..and it doesn't work now yeah  except when I turn the laptop off and then when I start it up  the touch pad now is enable  except when I go look at it under device manager, it still show disable and I have to click enable and then disable to get it to be disable...what the heck

Well if your running windows 10 you should be disabling it from All Settings/devices/touchpad there is a simple switch to turn it on or off. you could probably put a short cut on your taskbar if you do this often. Windows 7 or 8 would have software to work with.
