Tried to boot with UEFI, laptop has black screen
I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series 2in1
I selected boot with external device UEFI so that I could try to make it Dual Boot. Once it restarted it would remain on a black screen with only the keyboard and power button lighting up. Then everything would turn off after one minute.
I have tried resetting everything inside and also starting without the battery using the AC adapter and still the same problem. Only thing that works for me is pressing D and power to do display diagnostics. F2 F8 F12 all do nothing.
Also let it charge overnight and everything is the same.
Thanks in advance!

external device uefi requires FAT32 usb2 and secure boot off.
exfat and NTFS are not supported.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/device-experiences/oem-secure-boot
Legacy MBR WIN7 WIN8 is not supported past skylake.
Those systems are 64 bit only and WIN10 only.
