Warranty Repair Estimated Completion Date

My laptop was received by Dell on 16 May. All I see is that the repair is taking longer than expected and that 'the estimated repair date has been updated' yet there is no way to find that date. Am I at the mercy of Dell or is there a way to find this 'estimated date'?

When I voice concern about repair time disappointment my post gets hijacked from the forum by some Dell- Care person. Why, it's a community forum.

From the Dell side, the DELL-Cares bot and agents must ask and receive the private Dell service tag or Dell order number before anything else is done.

But any user can also reply as ejn63 did above.
