The problem now persists for months. It wasn't an issue last year, I got my 9370 a year ago.
It doesn't happen on my 9550, both devices have latest Bios, drivers and Windows (10 Pro) updates installed.
Restarting Windows 10 is not a practical solution.
Having bought a new machine from you and installed the latest BIOS and windows updates it is unacceptable that something as basic as playing audio does not work.
The lack of response to this problem does not reflect well on Dell.
Will not be buying another dell laptop, and will advise others not to either.

Same problem. New Xps13.
After several long sessions with Dell's attempts to fix, they finally told us to send it back. We did. They returned it to us with a new operating system, drivers, etc. Worked fine. For a couple of weeks. Now back to the same old.
This is our second xps13. The first one, now about three years old, works like a dream --- which is why we bought this one.
Time for a refund?
