I connected Dell external USB DVDRW Drive (model GP60N) to my Inspiron 13 (5000 series). The drive is not playing ? How to make it work

What exactly does “it’s not playing” mean? What are you trying to play? If you’re trying to watch a DVD, you need DVD playback software, which is not included with Windows anymore. Does the DVD drive appear in Windows Explorer with a drive letter? If so, then the drive is being detected by the system, so if you’re having trouble, it’s probably related to whatever disc you’re trying to play.
