 DELL INSPIRON 15 3000 SERIES  - MODEL  3567 i3 6006U

I need to update my laptop with ssd . Is there any dedicated slot for ssd in in my laptop apart from hard drive .

My friend suggested me to go with ssd caddy method by removing optical drive, is there any problem by using this method .at user manual it shows that only 256 GB of ssd is supported ,can i use more ?

what type of ssd is supported by my laptop suggestion please (for caddy method)

what is the size of ssd that can be used in caddy method ,is it 2.5mm

while adding extra  RAM what sort of ram is compactable   with my laptop . can i use my old laptops ram here...

In order of your questions...

No there is not an additional drive space.

You can use a caddy and an SSD larger than 256GB. For more caddy info click on the link below.

Type and size...2.5" SSD

I have no idea what your old RAM type is but the specs for RAM are..DDR4 2133, 2 slots, a maximum of 8 GB per slot for a total of 16 GB. And I am not a big fan of using old RAM in a new system.
