wifi problem

i just recently purchased a dell inspiron 15 3000 and the issue is that i cant connect to the wifi.All the other devices at my house are able to connect to the wifi,but when i click on the wifi option i am not able to find my internet connection,sometimes i'm able to connect to the wifi and majority of the time im not able to connect.I've updated all the required drivers and still i cant connect to the wifi.
