Hi Hiroki K.,

Are you talking about the alert LED? If the interface is an active member of a pool, I believe when the cable is unplugged it should generate a critical alert that would trigger the alert LED light on the node.

Hello sjones5,

Yes, alert LED on the front panel. I checked Event Reference manual & Troubleshooting Guide but I can't find turning on LED at network cable disconnected.

Thank you for answering.

Best regards,

Hiroki

Re: Can we turn on LED when network cable unplugged?

Hi Hiroki K.,

The alert light will come on automatically when the alert is generated for the network cable being unplugged. There is no step necessary to turn on the light.

The light can manually be turned on to help with node identification from the command line however:

Re: Can we turn on LED when network cable unplugged?

Hello sjones5,

I looked at the KB you attached. It's explaining turning on a blue indicator light on the back of X, S, and NL series (and subsequent) node types.

Do you know if unplugged network cable makes turn on LED on front panel?

Thanks,

Hiroki

Hi Hiroki,

When an active network cable is unplugged, it will automatically turn on the alert LED on the front panel.
