Hardware installation - Isilon
Hey,
Dumb question that I am sure I know the answer to but I wanted to be sure.
QUESTION: When your installing an Isilon for the first time you don't have to worry about installing the hard drives in a certain order, right? That is unless you have SSDs. The other NL hard disk can be installed in any order? Thank you in advance.
Is there any documentation available?

That is correct. Just pull 'em out of the cardboard box and toss 'em in the metal one. With the old 72NLs, that was literally possible. You could set the drives without having to actually press the lock. It is possible on the new ones, but you run a much higher risk of breaking something, and you have to twist your wrist juuuuust right.
