ISILON need to change from port 8080 to port 443.

Hi.

Our most of storage devices in our environment work with https://devicename, however our new isilon(3node cluster) needs http://devicename.

I dont know if there is a way to change the default port 8080 config to port 443. So that the access works on secured https: and not http:

Moreover, as soon as I enter http://devicename, I see the address changes to https://devicename:8080. I dont understand why cant I simply access the devices as https://devicename.

Any thoughts..?

Regards,

Nishant

Hi,

It is the admin interface which runs on a different port.

https (secure) device : 8080

This is normal. All our Storage devices have their admin interface run on a different port.

Grtz
