Isilon’s Self-Service Platform (SSP) V1.5.3, a troubleshooting and prevention utility is now available for customer use!

Take advantage of the same utility that EMC Isilon Technical Support Engineers and EMC Isilon Field representatives use to troubleshoot and prevent a wide range of known issues that commonly occur on your Isilon clusters. Download our Isilon Self-Service Platform (SSP), an off-cluster Windows-based log analyzer that will analyze your cluster log set.

Within minutes you will receive a diagnostic report of the current health of your cluster. This output will provide a list of items that range from Critical to Warning to simple informational checks with links to documentation for how to resolve the issues.

Use the SSP and tell us what you think! What did you like and dislike? Was anything missing, and what would you like to see done differently? Did you encounter any issues with the application itself?

We will be releasing versions of the SSP as new features are added so don't be shy, join this conversation and tell us what you need to sustain your clusters. We need your input to improve and expand the SSP’s capabilities!

We are waiting to hear from you!

Thank You,

The Isilon SSP Team

Thanks for the update.  The V1.5.5 version of the tool is scheduled to be released around the end of February and has been updated to include the latest packages and patches.  We have about a monthly cadence on releasing new code out to the field.

Thanks

Stephen
