SAN Copy Migration - Push to a Third Party Array
EMC Technical document "EMC_IBM_XIV_technote" provides a procedure on SAN Copy being used to pull data from IBM XIV to VNX. Now, knowing that A9000/A9000R are new generation XIVs only, and block migration concept being same(like zoning array ports, and one array acting as a host to another array), do you think we can use SAN Copy to push data from VNX to IBM A9000 ? Anyone has done that.
Please advise.

Hello Bhuppi1,
I am not aware of any way to use san copy to push your data to a non-EMC system. San copy allows you to copy data from a non-EMC system but to my knowledge it won’t allow you to push data to a non-EMC system.
