This also comes as a dual SO-DIMM package.

CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8G) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10

I have seen multiple references for this memory as a solution.  The key factor I find in my research is that the voltage on the memory must be 1.5V, not the newer 1.3V; this falls in line with memory for 2nd and 3rd generation CPUs.  I have seen seen no references to success in finding and installing 2x16GB for the DELL Latitude E6420.  However, one user appears to indicate that the Intel Sandy Bridge supports up to 32GB; I am not sure if that is a reference to a chipset or motherboard manufacturer for this DELL laptop.

I do plan to make this upgrade soon to my DELL Latitude E6420 in the near future.
