AC Adapter turns off when I connect it to notebook

Hi there,

Today I was trying to use my Vostro 3500 but when I connected the AC Adapter it (the AC) turned off.

When I plugin it to power, the led shines normally but when I connect it to the notebook it begins to fade and flashes so weakly. I unplug it and it starts back to shine. It doesn't recharge or gives any power to the notebook as I've tryed to remove the battery also.

I've tested another DELL AC adapters on my notebook and they work normally, so I guess it shouldn't be any problem regarding the notebook.

I've testes the removable wire too in another adapter and it works just fine.

Is my AC adapter gone? :(
