Hi,

Package error confirms that the Video driver is faulty, Please download and install the Chipset and video drivers from the links below. It is important to follow an order while installing video drivers hence chipset driver would go in first then the video driver.

Chipset                                                          : http://dell.to/OrXHic

Intel Management Engine Interface         : http://dell.to/NXwzGq

Video                                                              : http://dell.to/NXwDWw

  1. Click the above mentioned link. (One link at a time in the same order).
  2. Click Download File and save the file to the desktop.
  3. Double-Click the downloaded file and click “Run”.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

Please post the results.

Hi,

The installation package is shooting up an error while extracting the “Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable” package. Depending on the version of the Operating System installed on the computer, download the “Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable” from the link mentioned below.

  2. Save the file to the desktop.
  3. Double-Click the downloaded file and click “Run”.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

Hai,

When I tried to install  the C++ redistributable it showed an error that the system is running on a advanced  version....so I uninstalled all the c++ redistributable file and I re-installed the c++ redistributable from the site mentioned by you and it worked. After that I installed the video driver and it installed successfully.......But still i dont have any  graphic support,,,.. I have a game which shows system information while the game is being played and the graphics driver shown was the intel driver and not my graphics card driver......What should I do...?

Pls help....

Hi cooola00p,

Please provide the service tag of the computer, which will help me in finding the right video card drivers for your system.

Inspiron N4050 might be shipped with Intel HD Graphics as onboard graphics card or AMD Radeon HD 6470M as discrete graphics.

Please click on my username and add me as a friend. Send me a direct message with the service tag of the computer and the registered name. I will help you further .
