Adding mobile broadband to M1330

Hi all,

I have a XPS M1330 that is about 15 months old and within its 4-year on-site next day warranty.

I purchased it without specifying the mobile broadband option. What is the hardware part (and where can I get it from cheap) that will allow me to fit a sim card and then use mobile broadband straight from the laptop without any USB dongle. I understand it fits near the mini-PCI WiFi adapter?

Any advice on this would be appreciated.

I believe the only WWAN card Dell supplies for US use with a service using a SIM is for AT&T - it's this card:

If you have T-mobile, you'll need to find out if they have a WWAN card that will work.

It's not entirely independent of provider - you'll have to see what Dell UK has in terms of what your service provider supports.

I should've mentioned that I from the UK (although my laptop is a US spec one).

I'm looking for just the hardware bit I need, independent of network provider.
