Alienware m17x AC Adapter chord (that runs into the laptop) only works when turned a certain way.
I received my m17x in early February. Since then i have enjoyed months of flawless gaming, but recently my adapter has been acting up on me. As i sit here now, my AC adapter keep losing power when i adjust the chord slightly (its on my lap... yes my legs are burning, just a bit). I don't feel inclined to call support because I don't want to talk to "Bob" or whatever his name is. But my question is
Will Dell replace my AC Adapter if my Laptop is under warranty?

Yes, the adapter is warranted. See if you can borrow a similar supply to teat with. If not, call Dell.
It may be the power socket on the system board and not the power supply. This is a common failure mode. The DC sometimes can be resoldered, but this is not trivial. Replacing the system board is ~$400.
