Ask : Elan Touchpad and upgrading RAM to 8 GB Dell Vostro 5460
Dear Dell
i just installed windows 8.1 pro and install all the driver on this link and my toucpad not working completely
like the scroll is not working ,rezizer and else..
will you inform me with the correct driver so i can use the touchpad ?
i ask my store how about upgrading ram to 8 GB
she said : "not all ram were worked whit this product, maybe ram with low voltage will work"
have dell tested upgrading to low voltage 8 GB of ram ?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Below mentioned link provides the driver for the ELAN touchpad and is supported on the Vostro Notebook 5460 running the Windows 8.1 Operating Systems.

I request you to reinstall both the drivers again. The installation instructions are mentioned on the link.
Unfortunately, Vostro 5460 supports only 4 GB of Memory. We have only tested 4 GB of memory and we recommend the same.
