Audio on Latitude e5540

Since update to Windows 10 I have one laptop that the sound does not work.  Troubleshooting says"Generic Audio Driver" --Not Fixed.  I have installed the latest updated driver. I have 50 of these same models that are working perfectly.  No  maintenance or parts have been worked on or replaced.  What is my next step in resolving this issue?

Thank you for writing to us !

The one system which has the audio issue and you have reinstalled the drivers for that system are you able to check if there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the audio driver in device manager .

Also check if you are able hear the windows start up sound and try using a headphone/external speaker to check for audio.
