Audio video players have intermittent buzzing/freeze for 1-2 sec - Dell Vostro 5470 Win 8.1
Help - all devices playing audio / video have intermittent buzzing and video freeze on my new Dell Vostro 5470 Win 8.1 system. This occurs with Windows Media player, various audio players, even in Skype!
I see posts about removing Dell support center etc. that is not the answer that users should have to live with - Dell?????

Im having the same audio buzzing problem on my Dell XPS L702X. System was fine for previous 2 years, I noticed this week that any audio source is interrupted by a short buzz. I have run all dell diagnostics and updated audio drivers with no resolution.

Hello. The instructions for obtaining and applying the "hotfix" are at:

Has anyone tried this hotfix? It seems to be for audio distortion but will that fix the buzz/freeze, after the updates surprises? I'm now leery of making things worse, and lack trust, especially when it's a third-party fix. And why does it have to have the PCAssist, since that has also been runamuck, lately? Any replies?

So far the hot fix seems to work.
Now I have another problem which is after some time I have very slow/no internet on my system when other laptops on the same WiFi in my house work fine. This problem is from day one. Works fine after re-boot for an hour or two then slows way down....Ideas?
Thanks

Is this for the buzz/freeze audio/video problem and will it also fix an XPS L702X audio?

EDIT: I had posted a reply in this space to the message above from the Dell employee Aniruddha S. I received no reply from that person, but a different Dell employee has hacked my post and removed all content except my signature (below).
Look, Dell employees, if you want to say something why don't you just make your own posts and stop hijacking mine. This is the 3rd time something like this has happened and it's really getting old.
