BIOS Update?

Can you go from A06 directly to A09 on a Latitude E6410?

RE: BIOS Update?

Hi hwbuff,

Yes, you may always update the system to the latest version available in the support website. However I would like to know the reason for the BOIS update. Because if the system is working fine, it is not necessary to update BIOS even if there is a latest version available.

Thanks and Regards,

RE: BIOS Update?

Thanks for getting back with your reply.

The reason for contemplating the BIOS upgrade is that I have been considering replacing  the hd with an ssd and was really wondering if my current BIOS would be capable of handling that.

BTW, was mistaken re. bios version. I have A05 not A06 as previously stated.

RE: BIOS Update?

Unless I am mistaken it looks like A15 is the most current BIOS upgrade.
