BSOD after memory upgrade on Dell Inspiron 15R 5537

Hello.

Few months ago I updated to Windows 10. I've upgraded memory in my laptop Dell Inspiron 15R 5537. I've installed 2 sticks CRUCIAL CT102464BF160B. As I see it must be compatible with my laptop. But after that my laptop started to fall into BSOD. What should I do now?

Thanks,

Andrey.

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

We would suggest you re-seat the RAM and check if the same happens .

Also provide us with the service tag and email address.

Thanks

Robin

Also run Memtest86+ to make sure the RAMs are error-free.

Hi, this is the working laptop of my collegue so I can't take  for a long time. I run memtestx86 tool, wait untill first run will be finished - no any errors.

Thanks,

Andrey.

Hello, the problem still exists so I have to come back to solving it. I tried to re-seat the RAM modules - no changes. What is service tag?

Can you take a screenshot of the BSOD?

Hi,

I forgot to close this thread - I've changed RAM modules in the shop. Now it works good.
