Batteries Under Warrenty??

Hi !,

My battery no longer holds a charge.

I still have a warrenty remaining on my Inspiron 8500.

So , I was wondering if the warrenty also covers the

battery replacement.

i believe ive heard someting about 6 mnths warranty on a battery, a battery is not included in the normal or extended warranty your purchase with your laptop.
beacause the battery life of an notebook battery stays unpredictable

With a 90-day warranty, the battery is covered for 90 days.

With any other warranty, the battery is covered for 12 months. The 8500 is far older than that - there is no remaining battery coverage.

I was just curious.

My Laptop will be 3 years old in April.

I guess I will be placing an order for new battery.
