Battery Meter on Win-XP Not showing up. Inspiron 1525
Hello,
I'm new to the forums. Not sure if I'm posting this at the right place.
I have recently made a clean installation of XP-sp2 (32 bit) and upgraded it to sp3. (Inspiron 1525)
I cannot see the Battery meter in the system tray. Nor does the LED blink, at both instances when the power chord is plugged in, or when it is not (on battery)
Since the LED wouldn't blink, as well as the meter doesn't show up. I'm not sure weather the battery is charging properly or not.
Just wondering if there is any way to be able to keep and eye on the battery levels in Win-XP. And to make sure the laptop is charging or not.
-Thanks

Hi Sky1206,
Welcome to the Community,
Installing Dell QuickSet application should help to get the Battery meter.
Use this link below to download and install it :

Hope this helps,
